We hope everyone had a truly blessed and spirit-filled Christmas Season! Now that vacations have come to an end and we are looking forward to a new year and the remainder of this academic year, we hope your interests will turn to enriching your faith life and learning more about the Catholic Faith. Make it a New Years resolution to grow closer to God by learning more about your faith!
Consider taking one or more of our Ministry & Theology, or MAT, courses! With our $15 price per 10 hour MAT I or MAT II course, anyone and everyone is welcome to learn more and get more engaged in your faith. Click here for the Spring 2018 course schedule. There is still plenty of room in our Spring classes and everyone in our office is thrilled about the new things we are offering this year!
We have some excellent instructors lined up and we are very excited to roll out some fresh, newly redesigned courses created by some very talented people! Some of these new courses being offered this Spring include: Wisdom Literature (MAT II), Johannine Literature (MAT II), Morality (MAT I), Mariology (MAT II), The Catholic Faith (MAT I), The Catholic Scriptures (MAT I), Catechism of the Catholic Church in Catechesis (MAT I/II), Catholic Identity in the Catholic School (MAT I/II). You can find out when these fantastic new courses are being offered by going to our Spring 2018 course schedule. You can register for these courses by clicking here.
Some of our new course designers include Christine Mendizabal from Our Lady of Mercy School, Jason Romero from Our Lady of Mercy Parish, Thomas Huck from St. Michael the Archangel High School, Scott Smith from St. Mary’s of False River Parish, Dr. John Meinert from Franciscan University of Our Lady (formerly Our Lady of the Lake College), and Barry Schoedel who works in our Office of Evangelization & Catechesis. All our course designers and instructors have at least a Masters degree or higher in Theology or a related field and are vetted by our office.
There are also several more courses to choose from since we still have many of our older courses still available. Take a look and see which ones seem right for you! We offer courses on the campus of the Catholic Life Center, on other campuses (school and church) around the diocese, and even ONLINE. Find out which ones work best for you! There’s something for everyone!
