We are excited to announce that our Ministry and Theology (MAT) Fall 2017 Schedule is up and ready for participants to begin registering! We are even more excited to announce that this Fall begins a new pricing system for our MAT courses! Rather than $45, each MAT I or MAT II course will now be $15 each. This new pricing system comes with a few changes regarding course transfers but you can check our website or the schedule itself for those details. We hope this comes as a relief to many of you and we hope this opens the door for more participants to be able to take these courses!
The Fall & Spring Schedules can be found on our website under the Certification tab and while Fall classes are available for registration, the Spring classes will not be available for registration until November 1st.
Registration will take place in the same manner as it did over the summer break and you can go directly to this page to start signing up for courses: https://evangcatbr.org/registration/
Remember that we also encourage you to offer MAT courses in your individual schools or parishes. We have some very gifted instructors that are more than happy to come out to teach a course in your area and we have made the process more financially accommodating for you to do so now. If you are interested in this, please reach out to our Certification Coordinator, Shannon Baldridge, at [email protected] so she can help you begin that process.
We are also happy to share with you that several of our courses are being re-written, redesigned, and some of the titles of the courses are even changing a little to better represent their content. We have contracted with some of our talented instructors to rework many of our courses and we are excited about what they’re developing! In the coming months we will also be rolling out brand new courses on new topics that we will add to the MAT I or MAT II listings. You still need 80 hours in MAT I courses to earn Basic and 80 hours in MAT II courses to earn Intermediate Certification but you’ll have more courses to choose from soon! All previously taken courses will rollover so there’s no cause for concern that you will lose anything.
