When the Catholic Schools Office released the new Religious Education Curriculum for Pre-K through 8th grade, it included Theology of the Body across the grades. In response to the need for some training in Theology of the Body for our teachers and catechists to integrate this into their classrooms, we have arranged for Ruah Woods Press to come in and offer their training for grades K-8. All teachers, counselors, catechists, youth ministers, and administrators who would like to learn how to introduce Theology of the Body across these grade levels are invited to attend. Catholic Sexual Morality credit will be awarded to those who complete either training date.
Two different training sessions are being offered to accommodate different people’s schedules:
- Monday, June 10, 2019, from 6:30pm-9:30pm at the Catholic Life Center. Cost is $25. Light refreshments will be provided and each participant will receive a training manual. This training will be more compact and faster-paced than the Tuesday training. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
- Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 9am-2pm at the Catholic Life Center. Cost is $25. Light refreshments will be provided. Please pack a bag lunch as lunch will NOT be provided. Each participant will receive a training manual. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

Training will be both spiritually and content-rich providing a foundation and history of the Great Saint, Pope John Paul II, and the 129 papal audiences that make up Theology of the Body. An overview of the depth of the teachings will be provided while also summarizing the impact they have on today’s culture. Ruah Woods Press curriculum material overview of K-8 will be included.
