Our Ministry and Theology Summer 2019 Schedule is now up and courses are available for registration! There are opportunities to take all our MAT I classes and all our MAT II classes between the months of June and July. This includes our two brand new MAT I classes: Christian Prayer (created by Jason Romero) and Sacred Liturgy (created by Fr. Ryan Hallford and Christine Mendizabal).

You can start registering now by going to our online LearnCat Shop.
None of our classes this summer will be entirely online. The courses in the new online format will still have the learning content online but the sessions themselves will be in classrooms on our Catholic Life Center campus.
We have been listening to people who tell us that they prefer the old classroom method of learning where the majority of the learning is done in a classroom with an instructor. More and more of our courses are being re-written and put into the online flipped-model style of learning where the majority of learning is done on a participant’s own time going through online content with only a small amount of classroom time with an instructor. While the flipped-model online style is great for some people, it is not for everyone and we recognize and understand that. Therefore, some of you may be glad to know that we will be beginning the process of taking the new content currently in our online classes and adapting it to be presented in the traditional classroom style in the future. This adaptation will take some time so you won’t see these just yet this summer but we hope to start offering some the next academic year so stay tuned!
Additionally, Ruah Woods Press will be offering Theology of the Body training for teachers of grades K-8 this June! There will be two training opportunities available. See the schedule or LearnCat Shop for more details. This is to meet the needs of the new Religion curriculum integrating Theology of the Body more intentionally at all the grade levels. More information will be coming out soon about these trainings.
We are also currently working on securing a presenter to come and offer a Theology of the Body High School training but details are still in the workings. More information will be available soon.
